Having or Planning a Bachelorette Party in the month of March?? So if you are a big college basketball fan
Nothing says it better than a half naked male stripper cupid! He can shoot his arrows at me anytime he wants. A great idea for the bachelorette party is to have the male dancer dress up as cupid or to dress up your favorite bachelorette party blow up doll in a cupid outfit! The girls will get great laughs.
Ok, so we all know that everyone on the the St. Patty's day holiday knows that somewhere is is bound to be some Green Beer, heck - Chicago colors their river in the downtown area completely green for the day, but we wanted to find a great drink or two that were perfect for the Bachelorette Party looking to celebrate on St. Patrick's Day.
There are so many great drinks to choose from but here are a couple Bachelorette Party Cocktails for your St. Patricks Day Drinks
The first is the The Shamrock Juice Cocktail::. ½ oz. White Tequila
½ oz. Light Rum
½ oz. Vodka
1 oz. of Blue Curacao
4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
juice of one orange or strawberry
¼ oz. Chambord
Fill a glass with ice. Then pour in all the different liqours, topping it off with the orange juice. Our additional twist is to try and find some Green 'Rimmer' sugar to first coat the glass for that extra burst of sweet, now who doesn't like some extra sugar on their bachelorette party drink!!
Then garnish with anything fun, an orange slice, cherries, maybe even scoop some green melon balls and put a slit on them as a glass rim garnish!!
The second is the The Honeydew Martini:. :½ oz. Midori
½ oz. Triple Sec
Now Fill your cocktail shakers about half way up with ice, crushed ice if you have it. Pour in all the tasty liquours into the shaker and give it some 'love' and shake until the ingredients are nice and chilled, Then with the strainer, pour into some chilled martini glasses.
(Again, a fun sweet twist is our addition - get some Green 'Rimmer' sugar to first coat the glass for that extra burst of sweet, now who doesn't like some extra sugar on their bachelorette party drink!!)

Bachelorette Party Movie for St. Patrick's Day
A great movie for March and the whole St. Patrick's day theme is none other than the 2010 film - Leap Year!!
Such a cute movie, in it Anna (Amy Adams) is a bit frustrated with the passing of another anniversary with no proposal, so she decides that she is going to take matters into her own hands. She becomes aware of an old Celtic tradition that allows women to propose on Feb 29th (a Leap Year). So knowing that her boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) is going to be in Dublin duing this time, she follows him out there to pop the question.
But with the typical 'movie' travel issues, and with all the mishaps, ends up meeting an Irishman- Declan (Matthew William Goode) on her way trying to get there in time. But in her rush to make it there, she may just find True Love.
This may not be quite the right movie to watch during a bachelorette party for a bride who maybe is second guessing the upcoming wedding..(laughing), but we love this movie, and with the whole 'Luck of the Irish' feel, think it makes one heck of a perfect St. Patty's Day bachelorette party movie!!
